The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the list of its central players today on 28th February. Let us tell you that many new players in this list have got contracts, while some players have been seen demotion along with promotion.

Let us tell you that the central contracts of players like Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer have not been renewed, whereas in fast bowling, the rising stars of domestic cricket Vijay Kumar Vaishak, Vidwat Kevirappa, Yash Dayal and Umran Malik are also expected to get central contracts soon. Also, Yuvvendra Chahal and Shikhar Dhawan have been thrown out of the contract.

However, amidst all this, a question may be coming in your mind that why Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel, who were part of the Indian team in the Test series against England, have not got a place in this contract. So let us tell you that there is a technical reason behind this due to which both of them have not been able to get the central contract yet, but they will get it soon.

This is how Sarfaraz and Jurel will get BCCI’s central contract.

Let us tell you that for any Indian player to get the central contract of BCCI, it is mandatory to have experience of at least 3 Test, 8 ODI or 10 T20 matches. If a player has this experience then he automatically gets BCCI Grade C contract.

So, Sarfaraz and Jurel have played only two test matches for India, hence they have not been included in this contract. However, if he is successful in playing the test match to be held in Dharamshala then he will get this contract.

List of Grade A Plus players

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja.

List of Grade A players

R Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya.

List of Grade B players

Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

List of Grade C players

Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaiwad, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Vishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, KS Bharat, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan and Rajat Patidar.
