Unmukt Chand has named his name in the list of Associate Players as an uncapped wicketkeeper-batsman for the upcoming IPL auction.
The IPL 2025 mega auction will take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 577 players have been shortlisted for the auction, out of which only 204 are going to shine. Unmukt Chand who made India win the Under-19 World Cup in 2012. Has named his name in the list of associate players as an uncapped wicketkeeper-batsman for the upcoming IPL auction.
Unmukt played an inning of 111 runs in 130 balls against Australia in the Under-19 2012 World Cup final, on the basis of which India won by 6 wickets.
Unmukt Chand has previously played IPL for Delhi, Rajasthan and Mumbai.
Unmukt Chand never got a chance to play in the Indian senior team, due to which he went to America. He is no longer an Indian player that is why he has been named as one of the associate players for the IPL 2025 auction. Let us tell you, Chand has played IPL for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians. He last played for Mumbai Indians in 2016. He has scored 300 runs in his IPL career at an average of 15 and a strike of 100.
Unmukt Chand has performed brilliantly in various T20 leagues around the world including Bangladesh Premier League, Major League Cricket and Australia’s Big Bash League. He is the second highest run scorer in the history of MLC, having scored 1500 runs in 45 innings. Despite good performance, Unmukt Chand could not make it to the US national team.

When Unmukt Chand made his debut in Ranji Trophy, he was studying in school. He has played 67 matches in his first-class career and scored 3379 runs at an average of 31.57, which included 8 centuries and 16 half-centuries. His highest score is 151. Talking about his performance in T20, Chand has played 90 matches, and has scored 1795 runs at an average of 21.89 and strike rate of 115.28, in which his highest score has been 125.
