Modi was quoted by Times of India as saying – Dawood Ibrahim was behind me because he was match fixing and there was no plan for me to fix matches. For me, anti-corruption was a big thing and the integrity of the game was very important.

After this, Dawood Ibrahim made strategic conspiracies against me at many places, which has been documented. These were not just empty threats, these were real, life-threatening attempts that could have ended my life. But I remained firm on my principles.
