Rashid Khan: Afghanistan cricket team is currently playing a three-match T20 series against India. Team India has won the series by winning the first two matches of the series. The third match of the series will be played in Bangalore on 17 January. Rashid Khan was also included in the squad against India, but he failed to recover from injury and was ruled out of the series.

Due to injury, Rashid Khan could not be a part of Big Bash League 2023-24. At present the discussion is going on that when will Rashid Khan be able to return to the field. Afghanistan’s head coach has given a big statement regarding the return of Rashid Khan.

He is working hard with the team- Jonathan Trott

Rashid Khan is one of the important players for the Afghanistan cricket team. The team has to play T20 World Cup 2024 this year. Due to which Afghanistan does not want to do anything hasty regarding Rashid Khan.

Speaking on ESPNcricinfo, Afghanistan head coach Jonathan Trott said, ‘We have to be careful about his injury. He is a very impressive player. We have to make sure he is 100 percent ready and not hold him back from a surgery like this. He needs to be given the right time. He is working hard with the team right now.

Jonathan Trott further said, ‘He is very passionate and dedicated to the Afghan national side. When he’s ready he’ll be the guy to take the field. He will get some checkups done now. Therefore, things are not clear regarding the return yet. I hope the comeback happens soon. But there is neither any pressure nor any hurry.
