PBKS Final Squad for IPL 2025: IPL 2025 Mega Auction concluded on November 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Punjab Kings had entered the auction with a purse of Rs 110.5 crore. The team had released all the players except Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh. The franchise has made purchases very wisely and has included big match-winning players in the team. Shreyas Iyer was the most expensive player of Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings bought Shreyas Iyer for Rs 26.75 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Shreyas became the second most expensive player in IPL history. Iyer can be seen captaining Punjab Kings in the upcoming season. Let us tell you, he is the first captain in IPL history who has taken two different franchises to the finals. He took Delhi Capitals to the finals in 2020 and then in 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders became champions under his leadership.

Punjab used RTM for Arshdeep Singh

Punjab used RTM card to reinstate Arshdeep Singh for Rs 18 crore. The young fast bowler played a big role in India’s victory in the T20 World Cup 2024. In the final against South Africa, he took two wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs. And was the second most successful bowler in the tournament with 17 wickets in 8 matches. Punjab also bought spinner Yuzvendra Chahal for Rs 18 crore. He has become the most expensive spinner in IPL history.
