Why can’t Virat Kohli replace Sachin Tendulkar? David Lloyd explains the reason

Virat recently broke Tendulkar’s record of most ODI centuries in the World Cup 2023. Virat Kohli – Sachin Tendulkar. (Photo Source: Getty Images) There has been a debate going on for a long time as to who is better between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. The legendary Sachin Tendulkar made many records in a career spanning more than two decades, some of which are still unbroken. On the other hand, Virat Kohli has challenged his records with his consistency. Virat recently broke Tendulkar’s record of most ODI centuries in the World Cup 2023. Although, it is difficult to break the record of 100 centuries of the former Indian cricketer, but Kohli is just 20 centuries away from it. He is still very fit and has a lot of cricket left in him. So it is interesting to see how many records of Sachin he destroys. Former England cricketer David Lloyd has given his opinion on this debate. When he was asked to choose between Sachin and Kohli for the ultimate Test-playing XI, he termed the star Indian batsman as a “personable chap”. 95 percent said Sachin – David Lloyd I did a little research and found on social media that you can only have one,” Lloyd was quoted as saying by TOI. 95 percent said Sachin. Some are telling me, criticizing me, some are even asking questions. This is ridiculous. There is only one answer. One thing that came to light was that Sachin used to leave his ego at home. I think the other guy Virat Kohli is quite a personable chap. He further said, Virat Kohli is incredible, but I would have chosen Sachin. If I had a choice between Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara in a Test match, I would choose Lara. So Sachin and Kohli are two great players in test matches. There is no debate in choosing between the two.

Team India will play just one practice match before the T20 World Cup, why is BCCI fighting over the venue – report

Team India will be able to play only one practice match before the start of its World Cup campaign, but no decision has been taken yet regarding the venue. Team India (Photo Source: X/Twitter) The final match of IPL 2024 will be played on 26 May, after which Team India will start preparing for the World Cup. T20 World Cup 2024 starts from June 2 co-hosted by West Indies and USA. There will not be much time between the end of IPL 2024 and the start of the T20 World Cup, due to which Team India will have to suffer the consequences. Actually, Team India will be able to play only one practice match before the start of its World Cup campaign. However, no decision has been taken yet regarding the venue. Let us tell you how Team India will face problems in its World Cup preparations due to IPL. It is noteworthy that the league phase of IPL is ending on May 19 and the final is to be played on May 26. According to Cricbuzz, there is still a lack of clarity on why only one practice match has been scheduled. Teams usually play two practice matches before the group stage of an ICC tournament. As far as the venue of the only practice match is concerned, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is trying its best to organize it in New York only. This is because India has to play 3 of its four group matches in New York itself. ICC has currently scheduled India’s warm-up match in Florida. But BCCI is emphasizing that the team will be very tired after playing so much cricket due to IPL. At the same time, when the team has less time left, it does not make any sense to go to Florida for a practice match and come back to New York. However, Team India is not in much need of a practice match as their 2 warm-up matches before the start of their campaign in the ODI World Cup 2023 were canceled due to rain. Despite that, India’s performance was on top. The first batch of players will leave for the World Cup on May 26-26. Let us tell you that the first batch of India’s squad will leave for the tournament on 25-26 May. The remaining members involved in the IPL playoffs will join the team after the final. Team India is in Group A of the T20 World Cup along with Pakistan, Canada, United States and Ireland. Their campaign will begin on June 5 with a match against Ireland in New York.

Rishabh Pant said after this match, if Delhi had won the match against RCB, it would definitely have been one step ahead in the race for the playoffs. captain of delhi capitals to Rishabh Pant It seems that his one-match ban cost Delhi Capitals a place in the IPL playoffs, because if he had been on the field, they would have had a bigger chance to win the match against RCB. Let us tell you that for the third time in this IPL season, Pant was banned from the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on May 12 due to slow over rate. Delhi Capitals not only lost the match against RCB, but their net run rate was also affected by the 47-run defeat. Delhi will now have to depend on the results of other teams to reach the playoffs. Delhi team has now reached fifth place in the points table with 14 points. With Delhi’s victory, Rajasthan Royals has become the second team to reach the playoffs. Rishabh Pant said after being banned on himself- Rishabh Pant said, “I would not say that if I had played, we would have won the match, but if I had got a chance to play in the last match, the team would have had a better chance of qualifying for the playoffs. We started the season with great expectations, but we had to deal with injuries and many ups and downs. However, as a franchisee you cannot complain forever, you have to continue with the performance you have. There are some things you can control, but there are also some things you can’t control.”
