Kolkata Knight Riders batted first in this match. At one time the score of Kolkata Knight Riders was 5 wickets for 61 runs in 9.1 overs. Dinesh Karthik also scored a half-century for the team but Andre Russell’s stormy innings won everyone’s hearts. During his innings, he hit four fours and six sixes, with the help of which Kolkata scored 185 runs. In reply, Prithvi Shaw batted very well but he missed by one run from scoring his century. The match went to Super Over in which Delhi Capitals won.
