Indian team’s best batsman Tilak Verma has created history in T20 format. He has become the first player to score three consecutive centuries in the T20 format. Tilak Verma achieved this feat while playing for Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Meghalaya.

He started his tournament with a bang against Meghalaya. Let us tell you that, while playing for his team, Tilak Verma played a match-winning inning of 151 runs in 67 balls, due to which Hyderabad scored 248 runs losing four wickets. Not only this, Tilak Verma’s innings of 151 runs is the highest individual score in the history of this tournament.

Earlier, Tilak Verma had scored two centuries in the last two matches of the recently concluded four-match T20 series against South Africa. He played an unbeaten inning of 107 runs in Centurion, while in the fourth T20, this young player scored 120* runs in 47 balls. Because of his innings, India won the T20 series 3-1.

Hyderabad won by 179 runs

While chasing the target, Meghalaya team was all out for 69 runs. Arpit Bhatewara scored 27 runs for Meghalaya. Apart from Arpit, Jaskirat Singh played an inning of 16 runs. However, apart from these two batsmen, no other player could cross the 10-run mark. The best thing for Hyderabad is that Tilak Verma is in tremendous form at the moment and he can be seen performing well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the future.

Aniket Reddy performed brilliantly in bowling for Hyderabad and took four wickets for 11 runs in four overs. Hyderabad team has started this tournament in a good way and the team is at the first position in Group A with four points.
