Yashasvi Jaiswal has created a big history with this 100 meter six against Nathan Lyon. He has become the batsman to hit most sixes (34) in a calendar year in Test cricket. He broke the 10-year-old record of legendary New Zealand batsman Brendon McCullum, who had hit 33 Test sixes in 2014. The list also includes Ben Stokes (26 sixes in 2022), Virender Sehwag and Adam Gilchrist (22 sixes in 2008 and 2005).
