Meanwhile, despite questions being raised about the New York pitch, the ICC has confirmed that no T20 World Cup match will be shifted from New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

Let us tell you that serious questions have been raised after the matches played at this venue. On Monday, Sri Lanka’s team was bowled out for just 77 runs against South Africa. On Wednesday, Ireland’s team collapsed for 96 runs against India. These incidents have raised fears about the unpredictable nature of drop-in pitches.

India expressed concern about the safety of the players

Now a report from BBC Sport has surfaced according to which, India has expressed concern about the safety of the players due to the uneven bounce and inconsistent nature of the pitch. Especially the Indian team has expressed this concern before the match against Pakistan. More than 32 thousand spectators are expected to come to watch this match.

According to the report, the ICC is analysing the data of previous matches so that any problems that may arise in the future can be resolved.
