Before the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction, all the franchises have to submit the list of their retained players, the last date of which is October 31. According to the new guidelines issued by BCCI, a franchise can retain a maximum of 6 players including uncapped players.

He further said that, RCB needs a keeper, a batsman and maybe a captain. Punjab will be in need because they will have no one. Delhi will need it, RTM card will be available. KKR also needs him. What about CSK, they need. If Ishan Kishan is left out, Mumbai will also need him.
