Pakistan is currently at 76 rating points, which is also their lowest rating point in Test cricket history. This is the lowest rating of the Pakistani team since 1965. In the ranking of 12 Test teams, Bangladesh, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan are below Pakistan.
Sri Lanka and West Indies have benefited from Pakistan’s defeat, both have moved up one place each to sixth and seventh positions. There is no change in the position of the top-5 teams in the latest ICC Test rankings. In this ranking, Australia remains at the top with 124 rating points, while India (120 rating points) is at the second position.
