India batted fast on the fourth day and declared its first innings at the score of 285/9. India made this score in 34.4 overs. Bangladesh had scored 233 runs in its first innings. In this respect, Team India’s lead was 52 runs.

  • Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the highest 72 runs for India. He played an inning of 72 runs in 51 balls with the help of 12 fours and two sixes.
  • Rohit Sharma scored 23 runs in 11 balls with the help of one four and three sixes.
  • At the same time, Shubman Gill scored 29 runs in 36 balls, Rishabh Pant scored nine runs in 11 balls, Virat Kohli scored 47 runs in 35 balls with the help of four fours and one six.
  • KL Rahul scored 68 runs in 43 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes.

He is not a bowler who can play only in Indian or subcontinental conditions. He is a very clever bowler, he is a very experienced bowler. Even if they don’t get you wickets, they will be able to slow down the scoring rate because of the cleverness with which they bowl. Gavaskar further said, ‘I felt that there are very long boundaries on these Australian wickets, so in such a situation you can include both of them in the playing XI. But this is a new management and new thinking. He has gone with Nitish Kumar Reddy, who is a promising player. There is no fault of his in this, but my only question is, is he completely prepared for Test cricket? Former legend, ‘He has not played many first class matches and so clearly, I think, this selection of Nitish is based on expectations and nothing less than that. Like all Indian cricket followers, I hope it is successful. The Indian team won the toss and batted first and the entire team was all out after scoring 150 runs.
