England are in a strong position at the end of the third day’s play

England scored 427 runs in their first innings after losing all wickets, in response to which Sri Lanka scored 196 runs in their first innings. England’s second innings ended at 251 runs and by the end of the third day of the second Test match, Sri Lanka has scored 53 runs in their second innings after losing two wickets.

Sri Lanka still has to score 430 runs to win this match. At present, Sri Lanka is far behind in this match but the team will definitely want to make a comeback on the fourth day of the game.
