Today i.e. on 13 February, West Indies won against Australia in the third T20 match played at Perth Stadium in Perth. In this third T20, Andre Russell and Sherfane Rutherford batted brilliantly for West Indies and played an important role in their team’s victory.

Australian players failed to bowl and bat well in this match. Batting first in the third T20, West Indies scored 220 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, Andre Russell played a stormy inning of 71 runs in 29 balls with the help of 4 fours and 7 sixes, while Sherfane Rutherford played a valuable inning of 67* runs in 40 balls with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes. These two players made a brilliant partnership of 139 runs for the 6th wicket. Both the batsmen did not spare any Australian bowler and hit hard against all of them.

For West Indies, Roston Chase contributed 37 runs while captain Rovman Powell scored 21 runs. For Australia, Xavier Barlett took two wickets for 37 runs in four overs. He was the bowler who took the most wickets for his team in this match.

West Indies won the third T20 match by 37 runs

The Australian team, which set out to chase the target, made a very good start. There was an aggressive partnership of 68 runs for the first wicket between Mitchell Marsh and David Warner. However, after the fall of the first wicket, the Australian team completely faltered and had to face defeat in this match. For Australia, experienced batsman David Warner batted very well and played an excellent inning of 81 runs in 49 balls with the help of 9 fours and three sixes.

However, apart from David Warner, no other batsman could score a big score in this match. Captain Mitchell Marsh contributed 17 runs while Glenn Maxwell was out after scoring 12 runs. Tim David played an aggressive inning of 41* runs in 19 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes but he failed to lead his team to victory.

For West Indies, Romario Shepherd and Roston Chase took 2-2 wickets while Akil Hussain took one wicket. Even though West Indies won the third T20, Australia won the three-match T20 series 2-1.
