All three players requested NOC to participate in the Global T20 Canada tournament. However, Pakistan Cricket Board President Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that it is most important for all players to play for the national team and only after that they can participate in the franchise league tournament.

Mohsin Naqvi announced that the players who are seeking Non Objection Certificate (NOC) for the domestic league will be denied due to the Test series. One of the main reasons behind this is that the performance of Pakistani players has been very poor in the last few ICC events.

While talking to journalists, Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that the selection committee is also constantly looking at the performance of young players.
