Babar Azam failed to score big in the second innings too and returned to the pavilion after scoring five runs.
Currently, Pakistan team is playing its first test match against England at Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. In this match, experienced batsman Babar Azam from Pakistan team failed to make a big score in the second innings also and returned back to the pavilion after scoring five runs.
Let us tell you that for a long time, Babar Azam has not been able to play valuable innings for his team in international cricket. Even in the first innings of this first test match, Babar Azam was out after scoring 30 runs. Many fans have been expecting big innings from him for a long time but Babar Azam has failed to leave his mark in international cricket.
Let us tell you, Pakistan had scored 556 runs in its first innings after losing all the wickets, in response to which England declared its first innings at 823 runs for 7 wickets. For England, experienced batsman Joe Root scored 262 runs with the help of 17 fours, while Harry Brook scored 317 runs with the help of 29 fours and 3 sixes. Both of them had given a tough class to Pakistani bowlers at Multan Cricket Ground.
Apart from this, Zak Crawley contributed 78 runs while Jamie Smith scored 17 runs. Pakistan fans expected a good start from their team but they lost 5 important wickets early in the second innings. Babar Azam, who has been struggling with poor form for quite some time, once again disappointed all the fans.
England bowlers bowled brilliantly
Babar Azam has not scored a single half-century in Test cricket since 2023. His highest individual score in the last 17 innings has been 41 runs. Even though Babar Azam could not score big for his team in the first test match, he can be seen performing brilliantly in the second test.
At present, the English bowlers have put the hosts on the backfoot with tremendous bowling. If Pakistan team wants to make a comeback in the match, then it is very important for them to make a big partnership.
