Talking about the match, Bangladesh scored only 106 runs in its first innings after losing all the wickets. Mahmudul Hasan Joy had scored 30 runs on behalf of the team. Kagiso Rabada took three wickets in the first innings. After this, South Africa scored 308 runs after losing all the wickets in its first innings. For the team, Kyle Verreyne played a valuable inning of 114 runs while Vian Mulder contributed 54 runs.

For the host side, brilliant spinner Tejul Islam took 5 wickets while Hasan Mahmood took three wickets.
