BAN vs SL 2024: Lions of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will clash with each other once again; BCB released full schedule


The Sri Lankan cricket team will reach Dhaka on March 1, the day the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 will conclude.

Sri Lanka’s tour of Bangladesh 2024, BAN vs SL: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced Sri Lanka’s tour of Bangladesh on 2 February. Bangladesh will host Sri Lanka in a six-match limited overs series and two ICC World Test Championship (WTC) matches in Sylhet and Chattogram in March this year.

This will be the first time that Bangladesh will not play a Test match at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Actually, Shere Bangla National Stadium will host Australia women’s cricket team during the Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka two-match Test series. Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka cricket team will reach Dhaka on March 1, the day the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 will conclude.

BAN vs SL series will start with T20I matches

Sri Lanka’s upcoming Bangladesh tour will begin with a three-match T20I series, with matches to be played on March 4, 6 and 9 in Sylhet. After the conclusion of this T20I series, both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka teams will leave for Chattogram for a three-match ODI series.

Bangladesh cricket team will play three ODI matches against Sri Lanka in Chattogram on 13, 15 and 18 March. Let us tell you, the first two ODI matches of this ODI series will be day-night matches. After the conclusion of the limited overs series, both the teams will come to Sylhet for a two-match Test series.

Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will host the first Test match from March 22, after which both the teams will then face each other in Chattogram in the second and final Test match of the two-match series. This match will be played at Zahoor Ahmed Chaudhary Stadium in Chattogram from March 30.
