David Lloyd believes that the team will not pose any threat in the tournament and according to him, India has selected a team which was already anticipated.
Leaving behind the past of returning empty-handed in the T20 World Cup 2022, Team India is once again ready to try its luck in the ICC World Cup. The ICC T20 World Cup will start from June 1, hosted by the USA and West Indies. India had earlier won the T20 World Cup in 2007. Despite many attempts in between, India did not get a chance to win the World Cup.
After reaching the league match in 2021 and the semi-finals in 2022, Team India returned empty-handed without the World Cup. Now after 17 years, the world is watching whether India will be able to show the same feat again. In such a situation, now the famous former England player has criticized the Indian team and has disappointed the 15-member Team India as well as 140 crore Indians.
England made fun of Team India
Former England cricketer David Lloyd, while talking to Talksport, has criticized the Indian team selected for the T20 World Cup. David Lloyd believes that the team will not pose a threat in the tournament. According to Lloyd, India has selected a team which was already predicted.
Lloyd said, “We already had an idea of what kind of team would be selected. I think the opposing team will accept the quality. Yes, there are good players in the Indian team. But they do not take risks with the ball and bat. So when you think about them, you will find that they have their moments, but they are not dangerous.”
After this statement, the blood of Indian fans has boiled, they want Team India to give England such a defeat that they think before saying anything next time. Now let’s see how Team India answers them.
