He is batting in exactly the same style for which he is known. Rishabh Pant, who came to bat with Sarfaraz Khan on the fourth day, completed his 12th Test half-century in just 55 balls. With this he also completed his 2500 runs in Test cricket. Rishabh Pant has now become the fastest Indian wicket-keeper to score 2500 runs in Test cricket, leaving Dhoni behind. Pant achieved this success in 62nd innings, whereas Dhoni achieved the same record in 69 innings. Only 4 wicket keepers for India have scored 2500 or more runs in Test cricket. Apart from MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant, names of Farooq Engineer and Syed Kirmani are included in this list.
