1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev is celebrating his 65th birthday today.
Australia has made a clean sweep of the visiting team in the three-match series by defeating Pakistan by 8 wickets in the Sydney Test match. After this victory, the Kangaroo team has reached the top of the points table of the World Test Championship (WTC 2023-25).
David Warner has retired from Test and ODI cricket after the third Test match between Australia and Pakistan played at Sydney Cricket Ground. He scored a half-century in the last innings of his last Test match.
After the match, Warner looked very emotional and he cried while talking to the broadcaster, the video of which also surfaced. Warner received praise from the cricket world for his brilliant career. Veteran cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Shoaib Akhtar, Brad Hogg and others wished Warner all the best for his future.
