The Indian team performed brilliantly in all departments on the first day of the Dharamsala Test. First the Indian spinners bowled out England for just 218 runs. Before this, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin made the English batsmen dance with their spin. Both took 9 wickets in total. Apart from this, one wicket remained in the name of Ravindra Jadeja. 100th test for Ravichandran Ashwin and Jonny Bairstow
The match being played in Dharamshala is very special for Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. This is his 100th international test match. On this occasion, Indian cricket team’s head coach Rahul Dravid honored him and during this his family was also present with him. Rahul Dravid handed over the historic 100th Test cap to R Ashwin at the felicitation ceremony.
Apart from this, the Dharamshala Test is also very special for England batsman Jonny Bairstow, because he is playing his 100th international Test match. During the match, BCCI gave a special tribute to the great Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar on 7 March.
