Indian player Krishnappa Gautam believes that the dressing room of Chennai Super Kings is better than the dressing room of Mumbai Indians. Krishnappa Gautam was seen playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024. Earlier, he has been a part of Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings.

Krishnappa Gowtham, while talking in an exclusive interview with CricTracker, said that Mumbai Indians leave no stone unturned in taking care of their players. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings not only takes care of their players but also ensures that their families are happy, everyone is in a good mood and mental state and this is what makes CSK special.

Krishnappa Gautham said,

I think Mumbai has a very professional setup. When it comes to Mumbai, everything is very organised. When it comes to Chennai, they are also professional and organised. They have everything that Mumbai has, but what I like most about CSK is that they will make sure that you are comfortable and at the same time they will make sure that your whole family is comfortable. They believe that if people around you are comfortable and they are happy, then you can perform at your best. They make sure that everyone is in a good condition and a good mental state.

Before IPL 2017, Mumbai Indians bought Krishnappa Gowtham for 2 crores, but he did not get opportunities and the franchise released him before the 2018 mega auction. Rajasthan Royals bought Gowtham in the mega auction, that season he played 15 matches and took 11 wickets at an economy of 7.80. Krishnappa played a brilliant innings of 33 runs in 11 balls in the match against Mumbai Indians, on the basis of which Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai by 3 wickets at Wankhede.

Krishnappa Gowtham was an important part of Rajasthan Royals’ playing 11 in IPL 2018, but he did not get many opportunities in 2019. He played only 7 matches and was released by the franchise before the upcoming season. Krishnappa played two matches for Punjab Kings in IPL 2020 and was released again. In IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings bought Krishnappa Gowtham for a huge price of Rs 9.25 crore. However, he did not get a chance to play a single match that season.
