A two-day mega auction for IPL 2025 was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this auction, all the franchises tried to build a strong team for the upcoming season. In this series, five-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) included some new players in the team. He bought Afghan spinner Noor Ahmed for 10 crores, while included veteran Indian off-spinner Ashwin in the team for 9.75 crores. Apart from this, he showed confidence in young Indian players like Anshul Kamboj.
