Recently, Team India had to face defeat in the three-match Test series against New Zealand. Let us tell you that New Zealand won the three-match Test series against Team India by 3-0. Team India players failed to leave their mark in this Test series.

For the hosts, Rishabh Pant was the highest run-scorer in the Test series. He had scored 261 runs in six innings. After this Sarfaraz Khan had scored 171 runs in six innings. Apart from these two batsmen, no other player could bat strongly for Team India in the Test series. Now Team India has to tour Australia in which they have to play a five-match Test series. However, before this Test series, former Australian opener David Warner has given a big statement about the Indian team. According to the former player, if he had been in the Indian team, he would have felt very scared in front of the Australian attack.

David Warner told Fox Sports, ‘This will help the Australian players a lot. Team India is touring Australia after a clean sweep against New Zealand. There will be a lot of pressure on him and the Australian team has three world class fast bowlers and one world class spinner. If I had been in Team India, I would have been very nervous.

Former player praised New Zealand team fiercely

David Warner further said, ‘In the first Test match played in Bengaluru, New Zealand took excellent catches and put their team in a strong position. If you are catching such catches then it is a very good thing. I know very well that it is not so easy to defeat Team India at home but the way New Zealand has played in this series is really amazing.

Let us tell you that the five-match Test series between Team India and Australia is starting from November 22 in Perth. If Team India has to reach the finals of this cycle of the World Test Championship, then it is very important for them to win almost all the matches against Australia. Talking about Australia, it is not so easy to defeat them in their own home and Team India would also know this very well.
