Pitch Report

The surface of the Rural Development Trust Stadium is considered to be helpful for the bowlers and is considered one of the best pitches for fast bowlers in India. If the bowlers bowl in the right areas, the spinners can also get some help from the pitch.

In the last match on this wicket, both the teams had difficulty in scoring runs, as the bowlers were constantly putting pressure. Therefore, the team winning the toss would prefer to bowl first.

(Photo by Dan Mullan/Getty Images) Pakistan’s red-ball coach Jason Gillespie has recently made a big statement expressing his disappointment about the lack of role clarity and communication within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). It is noteworthy that the former Australian bowler was recently removed from the selection panel of Pakistan’s Senior Men’s Committee along with captain Shan Masood. Currently, Jason is going through a very complicated situation and he has put forward his views regarding PCB to the cricket world. Jason Gillespie gave a big statement Let us tell you that while discussing with Sky Sports recently, Jason said – This is not what I had signed up for. I’m being completely honest, but it’s one of those things where you just need to go with the flow. Right now, I am in a different environment, and things are done differently here. Some may agree and some may disagree on how things are done. But I am here to help the Pakistan team perform well, make the players better and improve. So I have put all my attention and energy into it. It is worth noting that Jason had taken up coaching in Pakistan’s red ball cricket earlier this year, so he said that he had come here with a long-term plan. However, now looking at his relationship with the PCB, it does not seem that he can continue in this role for long. Jason further said- I think there is disappointment from time to time. For me, when I came to the board of Pakistan Cricket, I was told that the plan is for a long term. We needed to make sure our communication was spot on. I made it a real focus and so if those things aren’t done the way you want, you can be disappointed.
