The second day of the Duleep Trophy 2024 has ended. During the second day’s play, India B’s best wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant took a brilliant catch of India A’s Mayank Agarwal. The video of this catch is going viral on social media.

Mayank Agarwal played an innings of 36 runs in 45 balls with the help of 8 fours in this match. He was batting quite aggressively in this match but Rishabh Pant took a stunning catch and sent the opener back to the pavilion. All this was seen in the 16th over of India A’s first innings.

Mayank Agarwal was trying to play a ball from Navdeep Saini towards fine leg but the ball hit his bat and went to the left of Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant took a dive and completed this brilliant catch. Mayank Agarwal was also stunned to see Rishabh Pant’s catch.

By the end of the second day’s play, India A had scored 134 runs for the loss of two wickets in their first innings

Talking about the match, India B scored 321 runs after losing all wickets in their first innings. Young batsman Mushir Khan played a valuable innings of 181 runs while batting brilliantly. He hit 16 fours and five sixes during his innings. Apart from Mushir Khan, Navdeep Saini scored 56 runs while Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to the pavilion after scoring 30 runs. Akashdeep took four wickets for India A while Khalil Ahmed and Avesh Khan took two wickets each. Kuldeep Yadav took one wicket.

At the end of the second day’s play, Riyan Parag is batting on 27* runs for India A while KL Rahul has scored 23* runs. Shubman Gill failed to play a big innings and was out after scoring 25 runs. Navdeep Saini has taken both the wickets for India B so far. The third day of the game will be important for both the teams.
