This achievement is the result of hard work of my family and my coaches: Chandni Sharma
18-year-old leg spinner Chandni Sharma has been successful in making a place in India’s Under-19 Women’s Team A for the first time. So, if everything goes well, then she can be seen playing matches in the tri-series against India Under-19 Women’s Team B and South Africa.
Let us tell you that the young leggy’s father works as a barber in Lucknow and his entire family lives in Bangla Bazaar. But despite such difficult circumstances, Chandni’s father sent his daughter to the academy to teach cricket.
However, now that she has been selected in the Indian women’s under-19 team, she seems very happy on this occasion. Recently he told in a media interview that his idol is spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. She tries to bowl like him while playing matches. The young cricketer has also praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma’s ability to withstand pressure.
Chandni Sharma gave a big statement
Let us tell you that after being selected in India’s Under-19 team, Chandni said in an interview to Times of India – I am happy to be a part of the Under-19 India ‘A’ team. This achievement is the result of the hard work of my family and my coaches. Despite our financial struggles my father never left me behind, even though he could not pay my academy fees initially.
Chandni further said- When he finally took me to the Northern Railway Stadium, he told coaches Priyanka Shaili and Saima Ali that he could not pay, but wanted me to learn cricket.
Since then, I have been playing in the stadium, and my coaches have helped me a lot. I consider Yuzvendra Chahal as my idol and try to bowl like his bowling. I am also a big fan of Rohit Sharma’s style.
