Good news for ICC fans, big update regarding the venue of Champions Trophy 2025 has come out.


According to the report, if Team India qualifies for the final of Champions Trophy 2025 then the final match will be hosted in Dubai otherwise the match will be held in Lahore.

Many people are eagerly waiting for the Champions Trophy 2025. This important tournament will be played in Pakistan. However, a big update is coming out regarding this important tournament.

According to the Telegraph report, if Team India qualifies for the final of Champions Trophy 2025, then the final match will be hosted in Dubai otherwise the match will be held in Lahore. Let us tell you that since 2008, Team India has not played a single match in Pakistan yet. In fact, after the Mumbai blasts in 2008, BCCI had decided that now India will never tour Pakistan.

Not only this, the last bilateral series between these two teams was played in 2013. Since then, both these teams have been seen clashing with each other in ICC events. The Indian government had also refused to play a bilateral series against Pakistan and hence questions were being raised whether Rohit Sharma and company would participate in the Champions Trophy or not.

No decision regarding the venue of the Champions Trophy 2025 final can be taken till March 6.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has confirmed that strict security arrangements will be made for all the teams. He himself is confident that BCCI will definitely send Team India to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. However, BCCI officials have not yet given any statement regarding this.

Talking about Team India, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, they won the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The performance of all the players in this tournament was strong. Now the players of the Indian team would definitely like to leave their mark in the Champions Trophy 2025. Talking about Pakistan, they will also have to perform tremendously in the upcoming tournament. For some time now, Pakistan team has failed to show great performance in international cricket.

Team India, after winning the toss and batting first, was all out for 46 runs in the first innings. New Zealand scored 402 runs in the first innings, Rachin Ravindra played a brilliant inning of 134 runs. Team India made a good start in the second innings. There was a partnership of 72 runs for the first wicket between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma. Yashasvi Jaiswal (35) and captain Rohit Sharma (52) played a stormy innings. After this, Virat Kohli and Sarfaraz Khan took charge and made a partnership of 136 runs for the third wicket. Virat Kohli lost his wicket against Glenn Phillips on the last ball of the third day’s play. Kohli took DRS but it was found that there was a slight spike and he had to return to the pavilion after scoring 70 runs in 102 balls. After the third day’s play, Rachin Ravindra made a big statement, describing Virat Kohli’s wicket as big and saying that New Zealand still has a good chance to win the match. Virat Kohli punished us- Rachin Ravindra After the third day’s play, Rachin Ravindra told the broadcasters regarding the wicket of Virat Kohli, This is a very big wicket and Virat is a great player. They punished us but we still have a lot of runs. Team India has scored 231 runs at the loss of three wickets by the end of the third day, the team is still behind New Zealand by 125 runs. I appreciate the support I get from Bengaluru fans- Rachin Ravindra Rachin Ravindra scored 134 runs in the first innings in 157 balls with the help of 13 fours and 4 sixes. This is his second century in his Test career. Also, he is the first New Zealand batsman to score a Test century on Indian soil after 12 years. Due to Rachin’s brilliant innings, New Zealand had achieved a lead of 356 runs. Talking about the century innings, he said, I think I was just trying to build partnerships and the partnership with Tim Southee really helped me. It is a really good wicket. Yes, it is comfortable, although the wicket is different and it is good to play on this ground. It’s great (to have my father and family around) and I always appreciate the support I get from the Bengaluru fans.
