Amanda revealed that Graham Thorpe was suffering from serious mental issues and lamented that he was slowly recovering but still he took this extreme step.
“Despite having a wife and two daughters who he loved and who loved him, he did not get better. He had been very ill in recent times and he really felt we would be better off without him and we are so sad that he acted on this and took his own life,” Amanda said, according to Express.
Graham was suffering from severe depression and anxiety for the last few years. Due to this, he tried to take his own life in May 2022. After this, he was hospitalized for a long time. However, he was going through depression and it used to increase a lot at times. We as a family supported him a lot but in the end nothing worked.
