Now Gambhir told whether Pant will do wicketkeeping in the Pune Test or not. Gambhir gave good news about Pant in the press conference before the Pune Test. Gambhir says that Pant is completely fine. He said, “He is absolutely fine, he will do wicketkeeping tomorrow.”

During the Bengaluru Test, Pant suffered an injury to the same knee which had undergone surgery after the car accident. On the second day of the match, Pant limped off the field after being hit by a ball on his knee and then did not keep wickets in the remaining game. Although he played an innings of 99 runs with the bat.

During the press conference, Gautam Gambhir said, “Social media does not decide how to play X1, it is not important what people or experts think on social media, it is important what the team management thinks. He played a good innings on the difficult pitch of Kanpur. He would like to score big runs. This team management is looking to support him.”
