The final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 will be played between India and South Africa on June 29 in Barbados at 8 pm (Indian time). Team India had earlier reached the finals of the World Test Championship and ODI World Cup 2023, but the team had to face defeat at the hands of Australia in both. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, India will be seen giving its best performance to win the ICC trophy to end the 11-year drought in Barbados today.

Kuldeep Yadav has proved to be a trump card for the team in the ongoing T20 World Cup. Kuldeep did not get a place in the playing 11 in the New York leg. But then he got a place in the playing 11 in the matches of the West Indies leg, and Kuldeep Yadav showed match-winning performance. The spinner has so far taken 10 wickets in 4 matches at an average of 18.60.

Kuldeep Yadav’s childhood coach Kapil Dev Pandey says that bowlers are the backbone of the Indian team. He also said that Team India is going to win the second T20 World Cup title, ending the wait of the last 17 years. Kapil Dev Pandey said while talking to News18,

India is performing brilliantly, and they have reached the final of the T20 World Cup by defeating all the teams… This is the best Indian T20 team to reach the final and I firmly believe that this team will bring back the glory of 2007 T20 World Cup and end the 17-year drought.

Kuldeep Yadav’s childhood coach Kapil Dev Pandey further said,

Obviously he (Kuldeep) is the backbone of the Indian team. He got a chance in the last four matches and he is doing really well. We all know what kind of player he is and I feel really proud to see him doing well for the country.
