Former Indian team batsman Faiz Fazal’s performance has always been very good in domestic cricket. Let us tell you, Faiz Fazal has played only one international match for India in which he scored 55 runs. He has played his only ODI match against Zimbabwe.

Currently, Faiz Fazal is participating in the Legends League Cricket 2024 for India Capitals. Recently, during an exclusive conversation with Crictracker, he revealed that he does not regret at all that he has participated in only one match for India in international cricket. According to him, he is lucky that in such a large population, he got a chance to perform well for Team India.

During an exclusive conversation with Crictracker, Faiz Fazal said, ‘I do not regret at all that I played only one international match for Team India. I am very happy that I got a chance to play for Team India. Many good things have happened in my life. As a captain, I won the Ranji Trophy final twice. I have also won the Duleep Trophy and Irani Trophy as captain.

It was my dream to play for the Indian team and my dream has come true. I have played at Lord’s and I have also performed very well for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. Whatever were the important aspects of my life, I have achieved them all.

You don’t get everything in life: Faiz Fazal

Faiz Fazal further said, ‘I felt that I could play Test cricket for Team India but you do not get everything in life.’

Regarding participating in LLC, Faiz Fazal further said, ‘The happiness that one gets from playing cricket is not found anywhere else. The best thing is that here I am playing with many international players who have a lot of experience in cricket. I am happy that I am also mentoring the players. There are many players whom I have told about very important things related to cricket and at the same time, the passion of playing cricket is still intact in me. I will try to participate in as many leagues as possible as a player.’
