He said, my fitness is good now and since the Australia tour is long, opportunities can come any time. After this, the England team is also coming to India for white ball matches, then there is the Champions Trophy, so there is a lot of cricket to be played ahead. There will definitely be opportunities somewhere. Right now my focus is only on improving my fitness and giving 100 percent when I come out on the field.
Shardul finally said that, in the first one or two matches, I was feeling a little hesitant while starting, but as I kept playing matches after the surgery, my confidence gradually increased. Now I have achieved 100 percent fitness and it is reflected in my bowling. In the last three or four matches, I have been bowling in full rhythm. However, some catches have been dropped, hence the wickets are not visible on the board, if those catches had been taken I would have had around 20 wickets. But it’s a part of the game.
