Before visiting India for the five-match Test series against India, England cricket team’s legendary fast bowler James Anderson has spoken from his heart about his retirement. Anderson says that at present he has no plans to take retirement.

However, when 37-year-old former England fast bowler Stuart Broad announced his retirement in the middle of the Ashes series 2023, there was strong speculation that Anderson might also retire along with Broad. Because the 41-year-old’s performance in the Ashes series was average, he took only 5 wickets in the four Test matches played in the Ashes series. Whereas during this period he lost runs at an average of 85.40.

On the other hand, before playing the role of lead bowler in the bowling lineup for England in the five-match Test series against India, Anderson has made a big statement about his retirement. Anderson has said that people come and congratulate me on a wonderful career.

James Anderson gave a big statement

Let us tell you that while talking to The Telegraph about his retirement, James Anderson said – It feels bad when people say this (congratulations on retirement), but you just have to move forward. At present I have no thoughts about retirement.

People come up to me and congratulate me on my wonderful cricket career. I tell him that it was Stuart Broad who has retired from Test cricket. That’s not me. I still feel like I have a lot to give to this team. I have the skills to win matches for England and as long as I have it, I don’t think I should retire just because of age.
