Chandrakant Pandit further said, ‘Faiz Fazal had played an inning of 131 runs in 324 balls against Maharashtra. When I was appointed as the coach of Madhya Pradesh team, I used to tell the players there about Faiz’s innings. This was a really good innings. There was no ego in him at all. We would sometimes plan games until 11:00 at night. After this he used to drop me home and never complained about anything.
