Dhruv Jurel gave a big statement
Let us tell you that recently Dhruv Jurel was seen doing an interview with sports presenter Jatin Sapru on his YouTube channel. In this interview, Jurel recalled the fourth Test match played in Ranchi and said-
I couldn’t sleep that night, I was not out on 30. I was planning for the next day, wondering if I should try to score a half-century with the old ball, as there were still a few overs left, or against the new ball. But in the end I managed to score 36 before they took the new ball and Anderson came back to bowl.
Jurel further said- He (Joe Root) had become completely aggressive by then and was continuously sledging. Listening to the English accent, I could not understand half of his words. After this Jonny Bairstow also joined in this sledging. I was surprised, because I asked Joe Root that you play with me in IPL, then why are you sledging. So he replied- We all are playing for our country now.
On the other hand, if we tell you about the situation of this match, India won the match by five wickets. Dhruv Jurel played a brilliant innings of 90 runs in 149 balls in the first innings and 39* runs in the second innings, helping India win the match. Jurel was given the Player of the Match award for this brilliant performance.
