Indian women’s team’s star all-rounder Deepti Sharma and New Zealand captain Sophie Devine have achieved career best ranks in the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings. Both the players have performed brilliantly in the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship series, which has benefited them in the ODI rankings.

Deepti Sharma took three wickets in the first two matches, which has lifted her to second place in the bowling rankings. On the other hand, Sophie Devine played a tremendous inning of 79 runs in the second match, due to which she has reached the best batting ranking of 8th position in her career.

Deepti’s dominance continues in the ranking of all-rounders also. He scored 41 runs and one wicket in the first match and played an important role in India’s victory. She has now moved up one place to fourth place. Whereas Devine has moved from 9th to 7th in the rankings of all-rounders after taking three wickets in the second match. Devine has gained 9 places in the bowling rankings and is now at 30th position.

Amelia Kar, who was out of the series, improved her ranking.

New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr is ranked 11th and 13th in the batting and bowling rankings respectively. He scored unbeaten 25 runs in the first match against India, apart from this he also took four wickets. After this she was out of the entire series due to injury.

Along with this, due to good performance in the series, there has been improvement in the batting ranking of many batsmen. This includes New Zealand’s Suzie Bates (up two places to 15th), Maddy Green (up seven places to 18th) and Brooke Halliday (up three places to 36th), while Jemimah Rodrigues (up three places to 30th) and Shafali Verma (up two places) Has reached 54th position. Lee Tuhuhu has moved up three places to 12th in the bowling rankings.

The players who performed well in the five-match series between Zimbabwe and the United States in Harare have gained in the rankings. The home team won the series 3-2. Zimbabwe batsman Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano has achieved a career-best 21st position after scoring 28, 33 and 60 in the last three matches of the series.

Modest Mupachikwa (up nine places to 46th) and Ashley Ndiraya (up 28 places to 47th) are the other Zimbabweans to gain in the batting rankings, while Josephine Nkomo (up 13 places to 32nd) has moved up the bowling rankings.

For the USA, Disha Dhingra (up 22 places to 55th) and Sindhu Sriharsh (up 42 places to 57th) have moved up in the batting rankings and Aditya Chudasama (up 12 places to 58th) has moved up in the bowling rankings.
