Former Team India cricketer K Srikkanth Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are expected to play in the upcoming T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to start from June 1. In a video on his YouTube channel, Srikkanth said, “Virat Kohli is sure. He is in great form. Rohit Sharma is probably confident about how he scored in the World Cup. He will regroup and try to perform well in the IPL. If Rohit Sharma says I am available, you cannot say that you will drop him.
At the end of the day, Rohit Sharma is also hurt by the fact that he has lost a World Cup. He would like to retire at least with the World Cup in hand. He was there in the 2007 World Cup. He would like to do something similar, win the World Cup and then retire.
Virat Kohli, considered one of the greatest players of all time, has not yet won the T20 World Cup. He was the top run-scorer in the last edition of the T20 World Cup and is in ‘great form’ at the moment. Regarding him, Srikant had said that, “Virat Kohli would definitely like to win the T20 World Cup. Apart from this, the T20 World Cup took place only 13 months ago last year. Virat Kohli was in extraordinary form. If they say they’re available, I don’t think you can skip them.
