The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has confirmed through a media release that spectators tickets for the first Test will be available online from this day.

Day’s schedule (including tea and lunch):
This five-day Test match will start at 09:30 am (Indian Standard Time) each day. The morning session will last for two hours, followed by a 40-minute lunch break. After lunch, play will resume in the afternoon session. The umpires will then declare Tea Break at 02:10 pm for a 20-minute break. Finally, the end of the day’s play will be announced with the declaration of stumps at 04:30 pm.

Indian team will reach Chennai on 12 September
The Indian team members will arrive in Chennai a week before the Test match. Notably, as reported earlier, the squad is likely to be announced on or before Monday, September 09. The Bangladeshi team is then expected to be welcomed in Chennai on September 15, and will engage in net sessions until the Test match begins the next day.
