Former Indian player and coach Rahul Dravid has made many big records as a batsman. He made his debut for India in 1996 and retired from international cricket in 2012. In his Test career, Rahul Dravid scored 13288 runs in 270 matches for India at an average of 52.31, which included 36 centuries.

Rahul Dravid is the second batsman to score the most centuries for India in Tests after Sachin Tendulkar (51). But Dravid became the first batsman to score a century in all 10 Test playing countries, he achieved this feat during the second Test of the Bangladesh tour in Chittagong in 2004.

Rahul Dravid first completed his half-century in 95 balls and then his century in 196 balls.

Gautam Gambhir completed his half-century in 60 balls and then his century in the next 71 balls. Rahul Dravid scored 160 runs in 304 balls with the help of 24 fours and Gautam Gambhir scored 139 runs in 196 balls. Captain Sourav Ganguly played an important innings of 88 runs in 153 balls and helped the team reach a big total.

India had won the series 2-0

Bangladesh was successful in scoring 333 runs in the first innings. Bangladesh player Mohammad Ashraful played an unbeaten innings of 158 runs in the first innings. The team was all out for 124 runs in the second innings due to Irfan Pathan’s 5 wicket haul and India won the series 2-0 by winning by an innings and 83 runs.

A two-match Test series will be played between India and Bangladesh from September 19. The first match of the series will be played in Chennai.
