Former Team India cricketer Aakash Chopra believes that, If the batsmen of the host team play to their potential then there will be a big difference between India and England in the current Test series.

The five-match series between the two teams is currently tied at 1-1. While the visiting team won the first match played in Hyderabad by 28 runs, Rohit Sharma and Co. made a spectacular comeback in the series by winning the second Test in Visakhapatnam by 106 runs.

In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Chopra said that the outcome of the ongoing series will define baseball’s success. He said that if India If he bats according to his ability, he will be better than before.

In the video, Aakash Chopra said, “It is definitely a new idea but this series will show how successful it will be. You are tied 1-1, you won the first match very well and you lost the second match. If you look inside, you will say that you missed a move and an opportunity.”

The former India opener further said, “One of the main reasons for this is that the Indian batting is not performing that well. If the Indian batting starts playing to its potential, you will see a big difference between the two teams.”

Chopra said that India had missed the opportunity to almost knock England out of the match in both the Test matches. He said, “For example, let’s say if India had made 550 in the first innings in Vizag, which they should have made, it was that kind of pitch, or when three players in Hyderabad scored close to 80. If one of them had scored 180, they would have done that. He has thrown England out of the match. However, they have not been able to do so.”
