Half of England’s team returned to the pavilion for just 112 runs.
The fourth Test match between India and England is being played at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi from today. Where English captain Ben Stokes won the toss and decided to bat first. However, England did not have a good start and lost 3 wickets for 57 runs.
It is worth noting that there was a lot of discussion about the pitch before the match and after England lost early wickets, many people started blaming the pitch. Meanwhile, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan also had the same reaction. He talked on X (formerly Twitter) about how shocking the Ranchi pitch is.
“The old adage is, don’t judge a pitch until both teams have batted and bowled on it, but honestly, this looks shocking,” he wrote on X.

Apart from this, before the fourth Test, Michael Vaughan supported the England team to make a comeback and win against India in the Ranchi Test. He predicted that the Ranchi pitch could be like the first Test and since India has rested Jasprit Bumrah, England will have a good chance of winning.
