England defeated India by 28 runs in the first Test match played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. He started the 5-match Test series with a bang and the team is currently leading 1-0 in this Test series.

Talking about the first Test, England had included three spinners and one fast bowler in their playing XI. The Indian team also came to play the match with three spinners. Now the second test match between these two teams is starting from 2nd February in Visakhapatnam.

Head coach Brendon McCullum has made a big revelation regarding England’s plans in the remaining Test matches against India. According to Brendon McCullum, he will not have any fear at all in playing against the spinners of the Indian team.

Brendon McCullum told SEN Radio, ‘Shoaib Bashir was with us in the Abu Dhabi camp and he performed very well. He fits into our group. Like Tom Hartley, Shoaib Bashir also has less experience in first class cricket but we are confident that because of his art we can win the match.

Brendon McCullum further said, ‘Just like we saw spin in the wicket in the first Test, if the same happens in the future then we are not going to be afraid against the spinners because the balance we have is really amazing.

In the first Test, I was very happy to see the way Ben Stokes bowled to Tom Hartley in the first innings. Tom Hartley also put a lot of pressure on the Indian batsmen and this is the real sign of captaincy. I have full confidence that we will definitely win this test series.
