The fourth day’s play of the first Test between Team India and New Zealand has ended. New Zealand has to score 107 runs to win this match. The New Zealand team made a very good comeback in this match and put pressure on Team India.

Let us tell you that in this match, Team India had scored 46 runs after losing all the wickets in its first innings. In the first innings for the team, Rishabh Pant contributed 20 runs while Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 13 runs. After this New Zealand scored 402 runs in its first innings. On behalf of the team, Rachin Ravindra scored 134 runs with the help of 13 fours and four sixes. Apart from Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway played an inning of 91 runs while captain Tim Southee scored 65 runs.

For Team India, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each while Mohammad Siraj took two wickets. After this, the hosts batted brilliantly in their second innings and scored 462 runs after losing all the wickets. On behalf of the team, young player Sarfaraz Khan batted brilliantly and scored 150 runs while Rishabh Pant was out on 99 runs. Both these players gave a tough class to the New Zealand bowlers.

Rishabh Pant looked quite disappointed that he missed scoring a century by just one run. Virat Kohli played an inning of 70 runs while Rohit Sharma returned to the pavilion after scoring 52 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal played an inning of 35 runs. KL Rahul once again disappointed everyone and was out on a personal score of 12 runs. Ravindra Jadeja scored five runs while Ravichandran Ashwin played an inning of 15 runs.

New Zealand needs to score 107 runs to win the match

The game had to end early due to bad light. On the last day of the first Test, the New Zealand team has to score 107 runs to win the match while the hosts have to take 10 wickets. The last day is going to be very important for both the teams.
