KL Rahul himself is very happy that he can be seen playing a Test match at this venue after a long time.
The first Test match between Team India and New Zealand is starting from October 16 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Many people were eagerly waiting for this test series for a long time. Both these teams have returned to Bengaluru to play Test matches after a long gap of 12 years.
Indian team’s experienced wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul has also returned to his hometown to play the match. KL Rahul himself is very happy that he can be seen playing a Test match at this venue after a long time. Let us tell you that KL Rahul played his last international match against Netherlands in the ODI World Cup 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in which he played an explosive inning of 102* runs in 64 balls.
BCCI has shared a video on its official social media account in which KL Rahul is speaking in Kannada, ‘We want to invite everyone for the Test match which is starting from October 16. International matches were played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium a long time ago. Therefore, I have full hope that everyone will be very excited for the upcoming match and will come in maximum numbers to support the team. We are also looking forward to seeing you all at Chinnaswamy Stadium from 16th to 20th October.

KL Rahul further said, ‘We have spent a lot of time in the canteen and club house behind this ground. We know that we have not been here in the last 1 year. I don’t know whether the place has changed now or not but very good dosa and coffee was available there in the morning.
A test series of three matches is to be played between these two teams, which is starting from October 16. The first match will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru while the second Test is starting from October 24 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The third and final Test will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from November 1. The host would definitely like to win the upcoming Test series.
