After the three-match T20 series, a three-match ODI series will be played between the two teams. Hardik Pandya has been appointed the vice-captain of the Indian team for both formats.
Rohit Sharma, veteran batsman Virat Kohli and brilliant all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have retired from international T20 cricket after the end of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Gautam Gambhir had announced in the press conference that Ravindra Jadeja has been rested for this tour.
