Amidst the ongoing IPL 2024 season, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rescheduled the matches of Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans. Kolkata, which was to play a match against Rajasthan Royals at Eden Garden on April 17, but now after rescheduling, this match will be played a day earlier i.e. on April 16, 2024.

Apart from Kolkata, one match of Gujarat has also been rescheduled by BCCI. Let us tell you that the match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals on April 16 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has also been rescheduled.

Now this match will be played one day later on 17 April 2024. Apex Cricket Board has given information about the change in the schedule of the matches to the concerned stakeholders including the broadcasters, so that any kind of problem that may arise at the last moment can be avoided.

Let us tell you that the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans to be held on April 17 has been rescheduled due to Ram Navami. It is noteworthy that Ram Navami is celebrated with great pomp in Kolkata city, due to which, keeping security in mind, Kolkata Police told the Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) that they will not be able to provide complete security on this day, because Most of the policemen will be busy with the security of Ram Navami festival. So, after the request of CAB, BCCI has taken this decision.

On the other hand, if we give you information about the tournament, a total of 14 matches have been played so far. After these matches, Rajasthan Royals are at first place in the points table with three wins in three matches. So Mumbai Indians are at the last position after a hat-trick of defeats in 3 matches. So today on April 2, the 15th match of IPL will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.
