On behalf of the team, Venkatesh Iyer batted brilliantly and played a match-winning inning of 51* runs with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes in 28 balls, while captain Shreyas Iyer contributed 58* runs. Both of them did not spare any bowler of Sunrisers Hyderabad and hit hard against everyone.

Sunil Narayan scored 21 runs while Gurbaz played an important inning of 23 runs. Captain Pat Cummins and T. Natarajan took 1-1 wicket for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
